VSTA · BETA PRIVACY NOTE

A clear view of
your data.

VSTA is designed to collect very little. You can search the directory without an account.

Saved opportunities

Saved opportunities stay in your browser. VSTA cannot see them, and they will not appear on another device. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Submissions and issue reports

If you submit an opportunity or report a listing, the information enters a private VSTA review queue. Your name and email are optional. If you include them, they are used only to clarify that submission or report.

Beta feedback

If you complete the beta feedback form, your answers enter the same private review desk. Your name, discipline and career stage are optional; the five product-feedback answers are stored so VSTA can identify and act on recurring problems.

Field Notes emails

If you join the Field Notes list, VSTA stores your email address and mirrors it to a private Google Workspace response sheet used to manage the mailing list. You can unsubscribe from future emails at any time.

Private form copies

Website form responses are stored in VSTA’s private database. VSTA may also mirror them to a private Google Workspace response sheet so the review work is readable and manageable.

Accounts and analytics

The beta has no public accounts and no analytics. If that changes, this note will be updated before the new collection begins.

Human review

Public listings are not published automatically. A VSTA reviewer checks the official source, deadline, funding and eligibility first.
