True to its name, every edition curates exactly 14 outstanding poems from LGBTQ+ writers worldwide. The editors accept year-round email submissions of up to 5 poems at a time, looking for modern, diverse, and electric perspectives that explore love, identity, and the modern queer experience.

The publication looks exclusively for LGBTQ+ writers globally to showcase the vanguard of the modern landscape. According to the fourteen poems Submission Guidelines, their focus centers on representation: "New queer poetry is in an exciting place. We want to represent all that's thrilling about the new wave of LGBTQ+ poets. If you're a poet, even if you've never been published before, we want to read your work. Every issue we publish 14 of the best queer poems we've found."
