Ricepaper Magazine, in collaboration with TAIWANfest Vancouver, is accepting submissions for its special issue themed "Beyond the Hyphen". Guest edited by becky tu and Iris Chen, this collaborative project explores migration, cultural memory, and identity across Taiwanese diasporic communities. Ricepaper Magazine "Beyond the Hyphen" Guidelines, the project "welcomes work from Taiwanese-heritage perspectives [and] Taiwanese diasporic perspectives," specifically seeking to cultivate "emerging writers — particularly those who have never previously published in English-language literary spaces".
