In Cahoots Residency is accepting applications for its Summer/Fall 2027 cohort in Petaluma, California. Operating on a scenic 3.8-acre pastoral property, the residency hosts three to five creatives at a time for sessions lasting one to three weeks. The program provides dedicated housing, shared visual arts studios, and private writing spaces to foster standalone exploration or collaborative team projects.

The residency welcomes a diverse cohort of creators with some prior background in their respective crafts. According to the In Cahoots Residency Application Guidelines: "With a focus on community and inclusion, we welcome adult artists of all ethnicities, religions, ages, physical abilities, gender, financial status and educational backgrounds. We welcome printmakers, book artists, letterpress printers, and writers to apply as individuals [or] collaborative teams or groups of up to 5."
